In the morning of the 18th June 2014, VASCO launched to hearten Hoang Sa – Truong Sa. Mr. Nguyen Thai Trung – Party Committee Secretary, Company’s General Director and Mr. Vu Duc Bien – Labor Union’s Chairman made speeches about the complicated situations in the islands and launched the programmed ‘HEARTENNING HOANG SA – TRUONG SA’ held by Labour General Confederation.
More than 130 VASCO’s employees who are working at the head-office in HCM city represented for the company’s labor force responded heartily by not only texting to the programmer’s Switchboard but also contributing half day of their wage to give strength for people and solders living and serving in the islands. The total amount was 31.726.000 which will be transferred to the Labor General Confederations Charitable fund.
It was an activity responding to the call of the charitable funds Chairman. It was also in order to support not only building Commemorate Temple for heroes sacrificing in the ‘Ga Mac’ sea battle but also helping sea police force, fisherman at Truong Sa island.
